Job Description
Infrastructure Architect
Contract, Basingstoke
*security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered*
Leading IT Services Provider in the defence sector require a skilled Infrastructure Architect to join their team based in Basingstoke.
Your experience
- Proven track record of creating High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, BOM's and support documentation
- Proven track record of leading the delivery of technical solutions through the design and build phases
- Strong understanding of the technologies and challenges in growing virtualization platforms
- Extensive experience of VMware vSphere 6.7 and/or 7
- Experience of VCP-DCV 2019+ is desirable or VCP5/6
- Experience of ESX performance fault finding and resolution
- Storage experience, Veeam, NetApp, iscsi, FC, NFS preferably Eternus
- MCSE or relevant experience / Microsoft Stack Troubleshooting
- Win Server 2019
Desirable skills
- ISODE messaging products (to include: MBOX, MSWITCH, MVAULT and HARRIER Web Client)
- SQL
- Network Data Diode
- Splunk
