In house Legal Counsel- Property Code Activity

I am recruiting for an In house Legal Counsel to join a leading telecoms company in the Reading area. This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in the Property industry to join a growing company and implement the new property and planning strategies for property code activity on a permanent basis.

As the Legal Counsel you will assist in ensuring that the site upgrade activities, lease renewals and NTQ replacements are delivered to Shareholder requirements under the terms of the revised ECC. You will also be responsible for effective implementation of revised ECC processes, ongoing improvements and also managing external solicitors and negotiating agent. You will need to have knowledge of both the old and new codes, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and will be able to give swift, commercially balanced advice to the business and employees and agents working on acquisition and deployment projects.

We are looking for;

• A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with knowledge and experience in Property Law, landlord and tenant issues and or in the telecommunications sector.
• Extensive knowledge of Property Law, including Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
