Generalist Architect - Windows - Network - Dublin

Are you an experienced Architect with a broad understanding of a variety of technologies including Windows and Networking together with an excellent hands on exposure to solution implementation? If so, please apply to a brand new 6 month contract role based in Dublin, working for one of the largest IT service and solutions providers in the world.

As the Generalist Solutions Architecture you will work on many programmes using a variety of technologies and will need to be able to take complex issues and translate them into IT deliverables which can be understood by key stakeholders and customers alike:

You will ideally have the following experience:

• Broad understanding of a variety of technologies
• Demonstrable experience of technical architecture across all phases of the development lifecycle
• Practical experience of service, application, data and infrastructure architecture
• Experience in systems delivery analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in technical (software and infrastructure) architecture, development and support.
• Extensive experience of the Microsoft platform - Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SQL, also good knowledge and understanding of MS System Centre Configuration Manager(SCCM)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and network technologies as well as Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of MS System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM) an advantage
• Background from a FMCG / Retail/ Banking or similar fast paced environment.
