Generalist Architect *Hybrid Cloud Solutions, AWS and Azure

Generalist Architects - experience to include Hybrid Cloud solutions, Public cloud experience (AWS and Azure), VMWare, Telford based, 3 month contract.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

• Experience of transforming traditional IT to a hybrid cloud model, preferably based on AWS, Microsoft Azure and VMWare technologies
• Successfully performed role of solution architect and experience of delivering large scale change and complex solutions, ideally in central government.
• Ability to map technology transformation to business change outcomes.
• Wide solution architecture knowledge
• Proven track record of building successful customer relationships and winning new business.
• Self-starter who is passionate for successful outcomes both for Fujitsu and our customer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with complex and thought provoking conversations.
• Excellent technical and consultancy skills both in a pre-sales and delivery environment.
• Sustains effective internal networks.
• Ability to navigate the wider Fujitsu organisation and manage virtual teams where required ( FJ experience would be nice!)
• Security Clearable (SC).

Advantages/differentiators

• Excellent understanding of existing infrastructure technologies (including Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, Wintel) and middleware (including Oracle RDBMS, Oracle WebLogic)
• Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Management technologies would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of enterprise level backup solutions would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of Cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge and experience of Agile deployment methodologies
