Full Stack Technical Lead - London - Contract.

Java / API / Azure / Agile / Jenkins / Git

A global IT services company is searching for a Full Stack Technical Lead to join their team on a contract basis. The role will involve working with a a customer based in London.

Role:

The Full Stack Technical Lead will be responsible for designing and developing complex solutions and producing high quality, test-driven, thread safe code.

As an experienced Leader you will be focusing your efforts on design and development of a cutting-edge modern platform - Producing high quality test driven & thread safe code. Although emphasis will be on coaching & mentoring your offshore team in the use of XP engineering practices ---- your strong background in software development, including a grasp of modern Java technologies & techniques, will allow you to communicate proactively with stakeholders while remaining hands on with day to day development. The ideal candidate will champion best practice across the software development life-cycle and understand Agile.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Standards compliant HTML5, CSS3, ES6
• Java 9, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradle -
• Node.js, React, Redux, Yarn, Babel
• Selenium, BDD, TDD
• SQL Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cosmos Db, Mongo)
• Experience consuming REST APIs and utilising JSON for web or mobile applications
• CI/CD - tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus
• Azure Cloud Platform
• J2EE JMS specification
• Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, XP
• Magnolia (desirable)
