Finance Operations Manager

• Accountability for the management of the business funding processes.

• Accountable for the business cash accounting.

• Accountable for the business cash reporting- by facility, vs. budget / forecast.

• Ensure all payments are approved in line with relevant approval matrix and business governance.

• Ensure requests from Solicitors for additional float monies are approved and processed on a timely basis, use of the floats is reconciled and appropriately accounted for.

• Ensure banking system configuration is up-to-date, with user roles in line with approved documentation. Cover all banking systems and manage business relationships with bank.

• To maintain up-to-date view of cash outlook, by facility.

• Provide critical analysis comparison with budget / forecast with commentary on principal variances.

• Drive the reduction of variability in cash flow forecast outlook where possible.

• Accountable for the timely and accurate VAT submissions to HMRC.

• Ensure Cornerstone is up-to-date with changes to VAT regulations, and that we remain compliant (including MTD).

• Timely recovery of VAT due from shareholders.

• Good working knowledge of Accounts Receivables,payables,month-end reporting and reconciliation in large commercial environments or in the Telecom industry.
