To act as the sole fire safety authority as part of our prestigious telecom infrastructure client's Engineering team to provide expert guidance on all activities related to fire safety.

The role is to provide expert advise to all stakeholders regarding fire safety, identifying risks the business should be aware of and put in place the necessary guidelines, processes, and procedures to mitigate those risks.

The role is to document and communicate all aspects of fire safety that are to be considered as part of the design and build phases of a telecoms installation and ensure that all suppliers working on clients sites are aware of the current legislation.

The role will also oversee fire related projects, ensuring that these are delivered to the required standard and act as a quality control safeguard.

• Has worked in the field of fire safety for at least 5 years and has worked either as a fire risk assessor or fire alarm designer or fire design authority role.

• Good knowledge of all fire safety legislation in the UK and how to is to be applied to the design and construction industry

• Has a good understanding of the CDM regulations

• Has a fire design based qualification or specific experience in this field.

• Has good understanding of electrical engineering

• Good IT skills, in particular the use of all Microsoft office applications

• Good communication skills

• Able to use MS teams
