Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Line Manager: Senior Electrical Manager

Role Description

To oversee and manage the rollout of Electrical AC & DC Electrical site upgrades for a leading telecoms operator. Responsible for timely project delivery.

Role and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:

Representing the clients' interests and provide advice when necessary

Project planning, budgeting and identification of resources

Ensuring sites are delivered on time and within budget

Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Ensuring that all the aims of the project are met.

Ensuring all quality standards are met

Plan and make revisions as and when required

Daily monitoring of progress and reporting.

Manage all post project requirements

Any reporting as required by the customer

Any other duties reasonably required by the business

Ensure Health, Safety and Quality are maintained to the highest standards.

Essential Skills / Experience:

Extensive proven project management experience within the mobile telecommunications industry.

DC Electrical Competency

Knowledge of BTS Installation & Commissioning

Financial Management

Highly Desirable Experience:

Electrical Qualification (18th Edition)

City & Guilds 2391 Testing Specification

Key Objectives:

To ensure that client SLA's and KPI's are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Compliance Requirements:

  • Read, understand and comply with all internal policies for 9001, 14001, 18001, 27001 including compliance orders.
  • Co-operating with the company to achieve safe, healthy and environmentally sound operations on and off site.
  • Co-operate with instructions from the auditing department or management; and reporting any lack of business process-training requirements.
  • Ensure that customer requirements and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, met and maintained.
  • Maintain focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Functional and hierarchical escalation of work-related incidents as required.
  • Responsible for raising awareness of non-compliance.
  • Complete any mandatory training.
