Director / Head of Business Readiness

Recruiting immediately for a leading telecom company a Head of Business Readiness, based in Maidenhead (Berkshire).

To deliver on our client's ambition, they have established a program to ensure their business is ready for the change being delivered by their major infrastructure programs. (Huge business transformation). This change program will need to:

• Delivery of the design and delivery of a series of organisation wide operating model changes
• Integration of a series of business and technology programs to ensure delivery of critical path items to ensure the programs deliver as required
• Establishment and management of a change team to ensure the business is trained, enabled and supporting of the transformation
• Senior executive stakeholder management
• Control of readiness program budget

Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• a history of delivering complex change management programs, ideally greenfield technology introductions across an organisation or new business unit establishment
• an understanding and prior delivery experience of operating model, change management and program delivery frameworks
• an ability to govern broad teams of cross functional resource towards delivery outcomes
• a deep understanding of project management delivery methods including agile delivery methodology prior development, adoption and governance of programme risk management frameworks
• knowledge of program management tools such as MS Project, Prima Vera
• a history of managing executive level escalations
• Qualifications - ideally; engineering degree, PRINCE 2, Agile and MBA
