Digital Content Editor - Contract - Berkshire

My client, based in the Berkshire area, are one of the leading network, telecommunications and mobile technology companies in the UK. They looking for a Content Editor to join their multi-disciplined agile team of digital experts to help shape and improve customers' experiences across all channels using the latest technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all content is aligned with established tone of voice and brand guidelines
• Working under tight deadlines to deliver high-quality content
• Working across a range of content workstreams, with differing objectives and approaches
• Working with members of the wider Digital Transformation team to understand project and business requirements

Skills Needed:

• * Strong editorial / content background, with a portfolio reflecting experience
  * Extensive experience editing copy to specific tone of voice and style guidelines
  * A keen eye for detail, accuracy and consistency
  * Ability to work cross-channel and cross-platform
  * Be comfortable working in an agile environment with multiple stakeholders
  * An understanding of how content can impact online customer journeys
  * Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  * Excellent creative and communication skills
  * An open and proactive approach to working with other team members

Nice to Have:

• * Industry-specific understanding of digital communications
  * Familiarity with content management systems
  * Understanding of SEO
