DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineers (Linux). Cambridge. 6 Month contract.

Video Business Unit of global telecommunications company is seeking a number of DevOps engineers to work on a contract basis in Cambridge. You will come from a Network or System Admin background with a good understanding of switches, bonding, VLAN etc.

• * At least 5 years programming/scripting experience in Python/Bash/Ruby
  * Admin experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, OpenStack)
  * Experience with development and administration in a range of tools is desirable: Red Hat, CentOS, DNS, PKI, Apache, Nginx, Checkpoint firewall, VMware, Nagios, Zabbix, Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl and JavaScript, TCP, AWS, MongoDB, NetApp, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Puppet, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Chef, Ansible, Salt, Vagrant, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Hadoop.
  * Knowledge of unicast video delivery systems and typical network topologies used in unicast video delivery deployments desirable
