Job Description
Developer Advocate - App Gallery
Location: London
We are currently looking for a Developer Advocate to join our Client's Consumer Cloud Service - App Gallery team.
Responsibilities
- Work with third-party developers and provide technical solutions and high-level guidance.
- Advocate for developers internally and influence our internal developer product strategy by working with product management and engineering.
- Speak at our Developer events and third-party events such as conferences and meetups, actively engaging with universities and business/start-up groups.
- Participate in engineering-focused meetings with developers to help improve developer experience.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field of study.
- Experience with coding in Java, JavaScript or other general-purpose programming languages.
- Experience with Android application development.
- Passion for technology and taking on complex and ambiguous technical problems.
- Passion for shaping top quality consumer-centric products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with developers or third-parties.
- Experience within gaming and mobile App industries.
- Experience presenting to large technical audiences.
- Leadership experience in technical/developer/business communities.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Experience with Google Play core library, GMS and Firebase.
- Program Management experience.
