Dev Ops Tech Lead

The tech lead will have the following responsibilities:

1. Lead the scrum team from a technical view point.

2. Be accountable for all devops engineering of features delivered by the scrum team assuring their quality and alignment to high level design and organisation standards.

3. Resolve technical questions and blockers, support team members to resolve difficult technical issues, identifying and seeking acceptance for appropriate workarounds / compromises and provide feedback.

4. Partner with the scrum master providing technical input and leadership required to deliver the backlog and collaborate with other tech leads and delivery managers.

5. Represent the SCRUM team from a technical perspective in technical and design teams.

6. Carryout and guide detailed design.

7. Carryout up to 50% DevOps development activity - Develop infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines - Documentation of code pipelines and implementation - Developing automation code and pipelines for the following DevOps toolsets: a. Microsoft GitHub, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Jenkins/Terraform b. Container technologies including - Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, JSONnet c. Cloud Platforms - AWS d. Experience of CI/CD automation for highly available Hadoop/Kaftka and PostGres/PostGres RDS is preferable

8. Work within SCRUM based development projects within a SCRUM of SCRUMs approach.

9. Work within large government programme.
