Demand Planner - Technology Retail - Permanent - Berkshire

Leading consumer Technology company in Berkshire require a Demand Planner to be part of the Channel Operations Team within their Consumer Function to own the 16 week demand plan for all technology hardware and accessories, across all channels

This role will be the key Supply Chain interface into the Trading process, working collaboratively with key internal and external partners to gain insight and create an accurate Demand Plan to support the company's Trading Plan.
As an integral member of the Supply Chain team you will be responsible for working across multiple departments and channels to understand all activity that impacts sales performance and use it to define our inbound Supply Plan

The role:

The Demand Planner owns the 16 week demand plan for all technology hardware and accessories, across all channels. So they will interface heavily with Trading to ascertain what is coming up, to make sure there is enough stock ordered, and liaise with Supply Chain to ensure it is scheduled for when the demand is there e.g. a new product launch, or seasonal promotion etc.

Requirements:

  • We need a highly analytical Demand Planner from a fast-paced Retail/FMCG/Telco/Fashion/Tech background (high value, fast-moving).
  • Supply and Demand background - forecasting, trading etc.
  • You'll be an Excel wizard
  • Oracle Retail or LIP (Life-cycle Inventory Planning) would be a bonus but not essential
