We are looking for Data Warehouse Managers for one of the leading telecommunication brands in Theale.

Role Purpose:

• To own, drive and develop the Datawarehouse team in production of BAU data loads, storage, DR, reporting and outbound data, remodeling Cornerstone values and behaviors and acting as an outward ambassador for the BI Team.
• Be the authority and provide leadership and guidance on database management, development, architecture, future design considerations, performance improvements and monitoring.
• Develop and apply best practice and expertise knowledge in all areas under remit of ownership, creating and delivering a defined strategic roadmap for data warehouse future.

Required background:

• Team leadership and development
• MSSQL/ MS SQL Azure experienced
• Database developer experienced
• Database architecture and design including pros and cons of relevant schemas/structure etc.
• All aspects of MSSQL stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSMS etc.
• Database Installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, backups and recoveries
• Stakeholder management
• Experience of Snowflake, Azure SQL, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Azure Cosmos would also be beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the data warehouse team, accountable for managing team workload and stakeholder expectations
• Manage, oversee and assist with BAU work and report production including review and continual development of the daily and overall warehouse processes/controls to improve the performance and reliability of the system and deliver business efficiencies.
• Continually and proactively identify, develop and plan improvements in the data management, architecture and processes within the data warehouse.
• Deliver impact analysis on shareholders Interface requirements and support shareholders to Upgrade/migrate the systems to deliver business strategies.
• To support and contribute actively to regulatory compliance, health and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers.
