Data Migration Consultant/Technical Lead/Manager (SAP)

Data Migration Consultant/Technical Lead/Manager (SAP Data Migration) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial contract until mid-April, to be based remotely from home (UK only), with possible ad-hoc travel to Bracknell, Berkshire.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Data migration process experience from strategy and planning, through to execution and go-live
• Management of risks associated with Data Migration
• The successful applicant will have a good technical understanding around data migration, as will need to work closely with the technical teams
• Work with chosen vendor and existing legacy system support teams to define a data migration strategy
• Experience in leading multiple end to end SAP data migrations
• Understanding of data modelling
• Must have experience of managing - data migration, mock loads, rehearsals, cut over of data etc.
• Excellent client facing experience
• Ownership of data extraction, transformation and migration activities
• Work with data archiving team, as well as the functional and technical team
