Data Engineer

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.

Leading IT Services Provider in the defence sector require a skilled Data Engineer to join their team in Hampshire (some home working available).

The project requires a Data Engineer with experience in:

• Demonstrable experience writing code in a variety of modern languages
• Experience collecting, managing, and converting raw data into usable information for data scientists to analyse
• Demonstrable experience developing algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information
• Experience ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies
• Demonstrable experience designing, building, testing and maintaining complex data processing systems that work with large data sets.
