Data Center Engineer

3 month rolling contract

Newport

This leading telecoms company are seeking a Data Center Engineer to join their busy team in Newport. You must be able to speak fluent Mandarin.

Main responsibilities:

• On-site maintenance and routine tasks: Data Center routine inspection and healthy check, risk discovery and solution.
• Project communication and supporting: new project on site delivery, acceptance and supporting.
• Asset management: DC assets management and inventory.
• Incident management: To support or solve the on-site facilities, devices and network incident.
• Facilities: Manages and develops upgrades to the DC's infrastructure facilities such as power supply system, environment monitoring system, cooling system.
• Networking: Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the DC network infrastructure.

You must have:

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or a related field.
• Speak fluent Mandarin
• Previous experience of IT work experience such as data center, network and system.
• Certification: CCNA/CCNP/ITIL is preferred but not essential
