MBNL are looking to recruit a Data Analyst on a 6-month contract. The Data Analyst will focus on defining and developing data to enable asset management decision making for the maintenance and capital investments for telecoms sites including towers, poles and rooftop sites.

We are actively encouraging applications from industries outside of telecommunications, if you have the ability to oversee the delivery of multiple fast paced projects and have worked in a technical environment, we would love to hear from you.

What the Data Analyst can expect to be doing:

• Develop an understanding of the current data capabilities and data management.
• Support the identification of data needs through an understanding of the current data gaps and maturity
• Develop data requirements to deliver short- and longer-term objectives
• Support and instruct data acquisition exercises and workshops.
• Review and support the development of advantageous methods and systems for data analysis, retention and quality management.
• Provide analysis and reports as required
• Attend project management, governance and review meetings as required.
• Report to the project team and governance boards as required.

The successful Data Analyst will have

• Identification of data needs and data management
• Analysis of data to develop business knowledge for decision making purposes.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques for managing data complexity, volume and interdependence.
• Strong MS Excel and Power BI or similar skills
• Able to translate data and information needs from business objectives and processes
• Experience of managing data quality and consistency
• Experience of developing asset management data models and capability frameworks.
• Knowledge of asset management Enterprise systems and tools.
• Data management in a complex business environment (e.g. multiple entities using common systems)
