Data Analyst

Data Analyst - Permanent role - Berkshire

• Leading mobile telecommunications service provider in Reading require a skilled Data Analyst to work within the Transmission Planning team which is responsible for the planning & delivery of the transmission network

Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst, the Data Analyst will:

• Extract information from other tools, transform and upload in Azure SQL Server using VM with SQL 2016 and SSIS packages.
• Create SSRS reports with graphs and charts to create various management reports. These reports are scheduled to auto-email at regular interval to the authorized executives.
• Support the complete end-to-end life cycle of module development of in-house DB.
• Update, analysis and reporting of/from DB.
• Create SSRS reports with graphs and charts to create various management reports.
• T-SQL coding at an advance level to meet all the business requirement like developing complex queries
• Support end-to-end life cycle of module development of in-house build tool for data-storage, update, analysis and reporting.
• Extract information from other tools, transform and upload in Azure SQL Server using VM with SQL 2016 and SSIS packages. Migrated data from various data sources
• Reports: Create SSRS reports with graphs and charts to create various management reports. These reports are scheduled to auto-email at regular interval to the authorized executives.
• Create dashboards and reports for management in PowerBI. Comfortable with PowerBI at advance level in data cleansing (M-language) and creating measures in DAX.
• Creating Mapinfo layers.
• T-SQL coding at an advance level to meet all the business requirement like developing complex queries to help management get the required data points to take business decision.
• Coordinate with Back-end developer to communicate the requirement or any changes in the module if required.

Key skills:

• The successful candidate should have demonstrable, relevant experience of SQL Azure DB, TSQL, Trigger, Stored Procedure, TVF, Functions, data modelling, SSRS, SSMS, Power BI, excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI
• Demonstrable experience of project delivery on time and to customer satisfaction
• Ability to respond flexibly to design challenges arising from the Acquisition and Implementation processes.
• Knowledge of C# and Angular 5 will be of additional advantage.
• Experience of matrix and functional management environments is desirable.
• Telecommunications industry experience highly beneficial
