Customer Solutions Architect (Network)

Project People is currently hiring for a leading Telecommunications client who intend to expand their Networks Team with a Customer-orientated Network Architect. The role reports to the Head of Networks and sits within a dynamic Network team who share technical know-how and assist each other.If you love meeting customers, and are passionate about implementing all things Network and Security, this exciting role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Capability to design large solutions involving the latest in Routing and Switching technologies along with modern firewalls and other security equipment is highly desired.
• Designing new solutions and to back the choices made in the design stage, create HLD and LLD documentation with detailed and clear written documentation (including Visio diagrams etc.),
• Implementation, testing, handover, and support.
• The incumbent should not only be able to understand and support the customer's existing network architecture but also develop new solutions in its entirety for a cutting-edge large customer on a daily basis.

Skills & Experience

• Cisco CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching qualifications.
• Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE and other Firewall experience required (Cisco ASA, Fortigate, etc.) to Engineering level.
• Excellent knowledge of IP routing protocols such as: mBGP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Static Routing etc.
• IPSec VPN and Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Data Centre Solutions such as Cisco Nexus Switches, Hyperconverged Technology, IOS-XE and IOS-XR OS

Since the client's customers have two data centres in Dublin, flexibility to work out of hours and travel is required to deliver in this role and will be compensated with time-off as and when necessary. The role is permanent and has access to a Learning and Development Programme for professional enrichment.
