Commercial Processes, Tools & Systems Lead
Hybrid working

The Role:

MBNL are seeking a Commercial Processes, Tools & Systems Lead to join the Commercial directorate. You'll be part of the Commercial Office responsible for the management of a range of systems that support the Commercial team and the underpinning processes.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Project manage implementation and in life management for various commercial systems (Medius, IFS, SharePoint, Market Dojo, DocuSign, Dun & Bradstreet)
  • Responsible for ensuring all commercial systems are optimised, road maps for continual improvement are in place, provision of training and guidance as necessary for the rest of the commercial team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complicated system issues independently and analyse the root cause
  • Understand needs of the business and translate this into the new system functionality
  • Proactively identify improvements to existing procedures and apply system changes as required
  • Design, test, build and present process documentation
  • Maintain commercial master data and system configuration, e.g procure to pay, supplier information or contractual information.
  • Responsible for ensuring all commercial activity is governed by Commercial policy and processes
  • Line management of Commercial Administrator
  • Develop a strong, effective relationship within the Commercial team and all areas of MBNL, raising the profile of the Commercial team and advocating the importance of sound commercial management to all areas of our business
  • Report issues and opportunities in a timely manner and manage risk appropriately
  • Be self-driven and able to work with minimal management supervision in a dynamic and challenging environment with tight timelines
  • Responsible for ensuring that supplier contract and part number information is accurately reflected in MBNL's contract database and ERP system. Work with relevant colleagues to resolve associated issues.
  • Actively support the commercial audit process

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable SharePoint expertise
  • Excellent organisational ability
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent Excel Skills (including macros)
  • System and Process development and documentation experience
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Medius, Market Dojo, SharePoint, exposure to ERP systems or similar - Desirable
