Role: Commercial Business Development Lead

Employment: Permanent

Location: Remote working mostly, one day weekly/bi weekly in the Theale Office

Salary: Highly Competitive Salary + Bonus & Excellent Benefits

We are currently partnering with a telecoms client, who are going who an exciting growth phase, looking for a Commercial Business Development Lead. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer to identify and lead the end to end creation of strategic business opportunities in order to drive significant value and growth.

As the Commercial Business Development Lead, you will undertake the following remit:

  • Developing exceptional business cases through commercial modelling that aids business development decision making
  • Create the business case and lead the stakeholder engagement (including board level) to ensure alignment and support.
  • Fully negotiate to contract completion with all 3rd parties (including delivery partners and customers)
  • Identify opportunities and trends in the market, selecting our big bets and building an end to end plan to deliver new propositions to our customers
  • Oversee all the party contracts / relationships from deal conception to close
  • Achievement of revenue and margin growth targets in the business plan

About you:

  • Experience in mobile network and/or TowerCo environment is highly desirable
  • An energetic, enthusiastic individual who thrives on leading the end-to-end creation of strategic business opportunities in order to drive significant value and growth.
  • Someone analytic and commercial minded
  • Strong ability to develop business case, and present to senior stakeholders
  • Good modelling capability to help the business understand opportunities
  • An ability to define the product & proposition, how the proposition will be delivered and the charging model
  • Able to bring the right delivery stakeholders together to deliver any opportunities/deals
  • Identifying opportunities through market trends
  • This person will ideally be someone supporting this type of work - generating growth, commercially orientated business opportunities
