Cisco Network Engineer - Hampshire(Security Cleared)

**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**

Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence Sector require a skilled Cisco Network Engineer to join their successful Practice on an ongoing contract basis.

They will work closely with the Solution Owners to produce design documentation, on a wide variety of network solutions, which vary in size and complexity. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be driven to find better, faster, more effective solutions. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to grow and build upon your existing knowledge and ability.

Your experience

Cisco Network Engineer

More of a network implementer role - instantiating designs, configuring devices etc.

Cisco Experience:

• Cisco routing 1800,1900,2900,3900 and 4300 series

• Cisco switching 3750, 3850 series, 9200, 9300 series

• OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols

• NAT

• GRE Tunnelling protocol

• DMVPN Tunnelling Protocol

• Network Design

• Support experience and fault finding

• Subnetting

• Knowledge of Network Tools and how to use them

• General Ability to interpret HLD documentation and apply rulesets according to the design Familiarity with HLD and LLD documentation
