Senior Application Developer - PERMANENT

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer to join a multi-disciplined development team building new and enhancing existing capabilities for our customers across Defence and National Security. The team are also involved in Fujitsu Defence initiatives building innovative prototypes, facilitating demonstrations and helping to further Fujitsu's (and their customers) technical roadmaps, involving investigative work into a range of new technologies on the way.

You will be responsible for the design, development and documentation of complex, high quality solutions while coaching and mentoring colleagues and team members. You will work influentially with our customers; presenting key technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders You may lead a team, providing strong leadership and day to day management with your ability to keep up to date with the latest trends in technology. You may also contribute to solution reviews and governance.

  • JavaScript such as front-end frameworks and Node.js
  • Webs app and services including REST/SOAP APIs
  • Toolsets and Automation: SCM, Test automation, CI/CD
  • Agile delivery skills
  • Windows/Linux/Cloud Environment

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.
