Job Description
Broadcast Engineers x 2 - Central London - Permanent - Shifts
Exciting new opportunities for 2 x Broadcast Engineers to join leading broadcaster on a permanent basis.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who have experience supporting a live studio, are passionate about new and older technology and are keen to learn!
What you will be doing:
A typical day in the life of this person would be coming in, checking emails, looking through the job queues (on Remedy) , taking calls and going out and fixing problems which could range from a touchscreen issue, headphones not working, DHD issues etc, patching work on computers, PAT Testing (if qualified) to soldering boards in a workshop.
It is a real mix of older and newer technologies within digital TV and Radio/audio.
Must have:
Candidates must have experience of supporting a live studio.
An understanding of systems within a studio environment
Any electrical safety training experience (i.e. PAT testing) would be useful. As would be risk assessments, manual handling.
Happy to work shifts which include nights and weekends.
