Azure Secure Cloud Architect - Perm - Security Cleared

This role will define and execute the strategy of the Azure secure cloud platform.

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert on Azure Secure Cloud capabilities and work to define new Azure based offerings that support the company's strategy
• Define and implement architectures to validate offering approach to providing accredited hosting on the Azure platform
• Define and agree Azure cloud usage policies/processes
• Advise on best practice Azure cloud implementations/usage
• Build relationships and engage with Microsoft partner contacts
• Support bids by providing Azure solution definition capability
• Support the dissemination of Azure cloud knowledge

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Mandatory

• Extensive knowledge of the design and implementation of secure, highly resilient, large scale cloud based infrastructures
• Experience of working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructure requirements
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience of deploying production Azure implementations with successful project completion and service transition
• Experience of designing Azure cloud solutions to be compliant with security standards

Desirable

• Experience/knowledge of CIS/NIST/27001 security standards
• Microsoft Azure Solution Architect Expert certification
