Cloud Migration Project Manager/Datacentre Manager/Azure/AWS

Cloud Migration Project Manager (Azure/AWS/Datacentre/Applications) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 3 months rolling contract, to be based remotely from home, UK. (UK Only).

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Manage business system migration to Azure or AWS Cloud.
• The successful applicant will be an experienced Project Manager who has migration of business systems to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
• Must be a Project Manager who has experience migrating applications to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
• Experience migrating applications to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
• Knowledge of applications services and support management
• Issue and risk management skills in application projects
• Team management skills
• Senior Customer management skills
• Financial and highlight reporting for projects and programmes
• Resource and revenue forecasting for projects and programmes
• Planning projects and programmes
• Experience of waterfall, agile and hybrid project delivery approaches
• Previous experience of managing:
• Migration of applications to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
• Application transformation projects and programmes
• Service transition projects to take-on application support
