Asset Manager

Contract - 9 months (with view to extend)

Remote

The Role:

We are currently partnering with a telecommunications client who are looking to recruit an Asset Manager. The role has come around due to increase customer demand from O2's east side of the country and Gerard is keen to bring in an experienced Asset Manager to help alleviate the increase work load. The main focus for the role is the managing of suppliers who help facilitate all the sites across the east of the UK along with NI, due to the rest of the team all working remote this role is also fully remote.

We are looking for an Asset Manager to deliver on property related projects and transactions and to track the delivery of sites across relevant programmes of work.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver Cornerstone property transaction activities across a defined group of sites to achieve the Cornerstone & Shareholder targets through effective management of the 3rd party Agents and Suppliers.

* To be aware of & manage dependencies within the region and other Cornerstone teams (Demand, Finance, Legal) through planning, tracking & reporting to ensure Cornerstone & Shareholder targets are achieved.

* To provide visibility of the future profile of all work streams (renewals, NTQ, acquisitions etc.) by ensuring that forecasting is up to date & in accordance with agreed forecasting standards through the tracking of 3rd party supplier projections.

* To deliver defined Capex & Opex targets & agreement terms by applying agreed standards, policies & expertise and escalating exceptions to enable the business to make informed decisions.

* Apply asset management & property expertise to support & validate the work of 3rd party suppliers and to ensure site specific issues are addressed.

* Build & maintain effective working relationships with the Estates team, Shareholder regional teams and other Cornerstone teams to ensure the and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers.

Person Specification

* Considerable site acquisition functional knowledge gained from working in a mobile network environment

* Considerable experience of managing 3rd party suppliers

* Knowledge of property litigation including an understanding of the Electronic Communications Code and Landlord & Tenant Act legislation in the UK

* Educated to Degree level in land and property e.g. estates management, land economy or equivalent vocational experience gained through surveying background with property experience

* Commercially astute

* Excellent ability to communicate successfully with people at all levels both inside and outside Cornerstone, both verbally and in writing.
