Applications Architect - Security Cleared - Contract - Hampshire

*please note that a national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance may be considered*

Leading IT Managed Services Provider in the defence sector require a skilled Applications Architect on an ongoing contract basis to join their team in Hampshire (some home-working available)

The project require a migration expert with experience in

• Analysing existing applications to understand their architecture and interactions with other systems
• operating systems architecture (SME level)
• application architecture and configuration (e.g. databases & clustering)
• migration tooling (automation)
• application remediation as part of a migration to the cloud strategy
• Ideally experience in migrating from VMware to Azure

The Applications Architect will be able to prepare HLDs\LLDs and have experience of applications/data migration projects and the technical and business risks associated with such projects.
