Job Description

Application Architect (SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, C#, SQL, .Net) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based remotely from home (UK only).

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • The successful applicant will be an Application Architect with experience of the following: SQL / T-SQL , Schema Modelling and Design, Performance Tuning, Partitioning, SSRS, Data Warehousing, SQL server, .NET programming, using C# and Visual Basic, API development, including SOAP / REST / JSON /, Entity Framework, ASP.Net MVC Web Development, WPF, Azure DevOps, Git, CI / Build Pipelines, Visual Studio 2017
  • The successful applicant will be an experienced Applications Architect with a strong technical background in Microsoft Applications Development and Design in Microsoft technologies
  • Experience of C#, SQL, .Net applications including web applications hosted on-premise
  • Expert knowledge of SQL / T-SQL , Schema Modelling and Design, Performance Tuning, Partitioning, SSRS
  • Data Warehousing (fact tables / dimension tables / Kimball)
  • SQL server
  • .NET programming, using C# and Visual Basic
  • API development, including SOAP / REST / JSON /
  • Entity Framework
  • ASP.Net MVC Web Development
  • WPF
  • Azure DevOps
  • Git
  • CI / Build Pipelines
  • Visual Studio 2017 and above
  • Experience of global retail application development
  • Experience of large event driven applications (pub/sub, MSMQ)
  • Desirable - Experience in modern big data and event streaming technologies (e.g. Azure Event Hubs / Apache Kafka)
