Application Architect - Java

We are looking for an Application Architect (JAVA) for a freelance contract.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

Typical tasks covered are:

• Architecture design of information Systems
• Development of IT Applications according to specifications
• Implementing change requests
• Elaboration of test programs
• Writing technical documentation
• Assist with deployment and configuration of the system
• Assist with the training of the users

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Mandatory skills:

• In depth knowledge and proven experience in JAVA development (Java Enterprise)
• Experience with the Spring Framework
• Experience with continuous integration environment (i.e Jenkins, Maven, Git, Sonar, …)
• Experience with unit test frameworks
• Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and Persistence framework (i.e Hibernate)
• Good knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP)
• Knowledge of web client technologies (i.e AngularJS, JQUERY, JavaScript)
• Good knowledge of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
• Ability to work in English (written and oral)
• Team player attitude
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience in team working
• Master degree
