3rd Line SD-WAN Engineer - Bracknell - Security Cleared - Perm

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered

The Long Term duties of this role will be to provide direct technical support for all SD-WAN Services as part of the 3rd Line Team.

The activities will involve the support of the New SD-WAN Solution and its interaction with other Network products.

The types of activities to be undertaken are:

• Network Monitoring & Event management via Orchestrator tools
• Detailed investigation and Diagnostics
• Create workarounds, solutions and mitigations for identified issues
• Identify issues requiring more detailed and in-depth analysis and escalate to product manufacture.
• The reception of escalated customer fault reports and technical enquiries. Analysis, investigation and production of support solutions relating to the deployed equipment or service

3rd line engineers require a NOC experience and network technical knowledge of the Juniper, Cisco (specific product raining will be provided).

Experience

• Experience working in a 3rd NOC support group
• Ideally Have knowledge of MS Service Center Support tool, Silver Peak SD-WAN, Cisco, Juniper, Certes etc
• Ideally have been in a support role in a WAN environments, i.e. has knowledge of IP, Routing, SD-WAN solutions, encryption, edge virtualisation (VMWare or Adva)
