2nd Line Support Technician - Contract - Glasgow

A global IT services company is searching for a 2nd Line Support Technician to join their team on customer site in Glasgow.

The 2nd Line Support Technician will sit on an on-site Tech Bar alongside the customer's permanent employees and handle technical queries such as:

  • Laptop issues (Candidates need to have a broad background in supporting different laptops brands e.g. HP, Lenovo, Dell etc.)
  • Mobile phone issues (iOS/Android/Blackberry etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (e.g. how to merge folders)
  • Skype for Business
  • Data recovery (e.g. laptop drive crashed)

Candidates need to have excellent communication skills and be customer facing and have previous experience in a face-to-face support role.
