2nd Line Support Technician

Location Fareham Hampshire & Local area

Due to the nature of our support requirements this is an office based role.

*security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered*

Leading IT Services Provider in the defence sector require a skilled 2nd Line Support Technician to join their team in Hampshire.

Your role

Experience of the following technologies would be beneficial in a selection process; it will also be important that you are willing and able to learn with an aim to operate independently with minimum supervision.

  • SCCM/SCOM Malware
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • WINS and Group Policy objects
  • Virtualisation (Hyper V / VMWare)
  • McAfee

Desirable:

  • NetApp
  • SPLUNK
  • PKI

Our Hours of support are 0730 - 1800 per week on a split shift, rotated weekly as directed by team lead to cover 37 hours. Example shift pattern will be 0730-1500 & 0930-1800.
