2nd Line Support Engineer

Permanent position

Lympstone, Devon (On-site)

We are looking for 1st line support Engineers or Desk support candidates to join a high profile project based in Lympstone, Devon (On-site Working ). The role will offer extensive training to upskill you and fast track your career

You will also be required to undergo Security Clearance

You will be responsible for:

  • To ensure that assigned Service Desk Support Calls are responded to and completed within the timescales laid down in the SLA
  • To deploy images and software to workstations using Microsoft SCCM or current deployment applications
  • To research, develop, build, test and advise on workarounds, permanent fixes, requests for change (RFC), and new technology.
  • To produce and maintain records, procedures and other documentation related to the service;
  • To adhere to client's Policy documents, including Change & Release, Configuration, Security etc.;

Your skills and experience will cover:

  • Having strong experience working with workstations and servers in a Windows Active Directory environment.
  • The role will involve resolving all delivery issues, providing solutions and fixes
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail
