2nd Line Support - Contract - Security Cleared - Bracknell

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered

We are looking for a talented Technician to join our 2nd line support teams able to provide technical support. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Software, Web and Messaging technologies to both workstations and servers and be involved with coordinating and collaborating with 3rd line support the customer and our consortium partners, working to time driven service level agreements.

The role will involve resolving all delivery issues identified by the customer, providing solutions and fixes. Investigate reported failures for delivery.

The successful applicant will work within a one team ethos and will be expected to support all areas of the service, this will involve being moved around various areas of the system so flexibility on the type of support provided is a must

Shift information

Hours are 0700-1900 to cover 37 hours as directed by the team lead. There will be provision for either 30 minutes or 1 hour for lunch depending on availability of staff to maintain the Service.

Normal work pattern is 0700-1530 or 1030-1900 with 1 hour lunch. Shifts are on a roster basis and flexibility will be required
