Transmission Delivery Manager
6-month contract
Reading/Solihull - Hybrid working

Our mission is to create maximum value for our Shareholders, by delivering and managing their best network experiences at the lowest cost.
The Deployment function of MBNL Transmission is responsible for the delivery of a series of projects, programmes, and activities on behalf of our shareholders as either shared or unilateral requirements. These deployments are delivered via Managed Service Partners (MSP's), Principal Contractors (PC's) and Small Works Contractors (SWC's) and are to upgrade and enhance the capabilities of the networks to meet increasing customer demands.
What the Transmission Delivery Manager can expect to be doing:
- Successful delivery of network site infrastructure to MBNL design and HSQA standards.
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of Suppliers, 3rd parties against contracted time, cost and quality obligations.
- Undertaking direct intervention to investigate underperformance, instigate recovery initiatives and intensely manage the recovery of delivery performance. Escalating to the Senior Delivery Manager as required.
- Manage Supplier delivery via regular review, meetings, and reporting.
- Highlight potential risks to projects and mitigate, as necessary.
The successful Transmission Delivery Manager will have:
- A proven ability to drive delivery across organisational departments, and from 3rd party suppliers.
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects to a clear governance structure.
- Good understanding of Transmission processes and cross-functional dependencies.
- Knowledge of the numerous functional deliverables (Acquisition, RAN, TX, Deployment).
- Experience of motivating and managing outsource Suppliers.
- Strong Telecommunications deployment background, with experience of managing BT Openreach fibre delivery.
