Senior Design Engineer - Technical Design Authority

Length of contract: 6 month initial contract

Location: The role will require attendance in the Reading office at least 2 days per week

Description:

Design Authority driving all design dependencies for multiple projects on major mobile operator's network from design phases of site to build by:

• Design Authority interface with Customer RF Planners & Delivery Managers, Stakeholders, Design Managers, Design Engineers and Suppliers, Acquisition. and Build Managers, on all design delivery elements.
• Design lead at the front end of the design to the back end of the build, driving through design dependencies and supporting and clearing any design issue that may stop the site progress for GA's/DD's/as builds/ hops
• Inhouse first point of contact for any design related issues or queries from RF Planning Design, Transmission to Integration/Commissioning
• Ensuring that all RF design requirements for Customer projects are successful.
• Buildable, safe and meet Customer requirements overseeing survey reports (configs, antenna positioning, steelwork. structure type, cable management), virtual drone MSV's ICNIRP, STATs, radar scan, trial/bore hole, electrical/structural/cooling calcs.
  Understanding the gating to track and monitor the completion of all pre-requisites from design to enable sites to progress successfully into the build phase with minimal sites being rejected.
• Inhouse technical lead for site meetings with Internal staff, Stakeholders, ASP's, and Customer
  Report to Directors and higher Management on site progress.

Skills Required:

• Telecom Experience must
• RF Design/ Electrical Design/ Structural Design Experience must have
• Design authority experience
