SR. PORTFOLIO ANALYST (TELECOM) - CONTRACT - HYBRID - READING
Hiring Sr. Portfolio Analyst to join their ongoing project team for one of our telecom customer in Reading, UK.
6 months contract + possible extension
Hybrid: 2 days/week in Reading is required.
The role:
This role forms part of the Commercial & Programmes directorate and is key to supporting the strategic direction of centralising the programme and project delivery as part of a centre of excellence within MBNL.
This role is responsible for transformation of the Business Planning area, and for the management of the strategic business planning processes (5yr , 18mth and AOP ), including the supporting quarterly forecasts. Providing oversight on corporate performance to ensure delivery to the agreed plan, and supporting the PMO to enable successful project outcomes
What we're looking for:
- Strong track record of working on project or programmes as either a PMO manager or project manager.
- Detailed knowledge of Risk management framework
- Comfortable working with broad range of Stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder engagement with the ability to interact, engage, influence, and have credibility at all levels.
- Confident communication skills and energy
- A passion for change and proactively encouraging new ideas.
- Innovative, open minded and progressive in think
- Ability to work in complex environments, on large portfolios of work, being able to multitask
Big Plus:
- Must have Telecom industry background
- Good Excel skills
- Good Powerpoint - They will be pulling together slide decks of info and progress and sharing upwards to ELT/SMT
- Good Stakeholder management
What you will do:
- Work with the MBNL ELT and manage the production of MBNL's 5-year plan and AOP for the shared and unilateral portfolio across all business functions.
- Co-ordinate all corporate forecast and reviews to ensure that the projects are delivering against shareholders project expectation.
- Be responsible for the implementation and management of the process for reviewing MBNL Corporate Outcomes with MBNL's ELT, and shareholders which provide overview and assurance of MBNL's corporate performance.
- Provide management information in relation to project delivery and outcome performance to identify business improvements through illustrative reporting, incorporating dashboards and trend analysis.
- Manage all project tools which supports the PMO community to deliver in a timely and efficient manner, including driving roadmap of tools development.
- Actively drive new ways of working and interacting between the business, shareholders and the PMO community, listening to feedback, meeting and exceeding their expectations, and driving measurable improvement in relation to project successful criteria.
