Job Title: SRN, SQL Reporting Analyst - Telecom

Reports to: Head of Data and Management Information

Based at: Remote working but might require very occasional visits to the Shard in London (all travel is expensed)

Job Purpose:

To define, manage and maintain data sets to support the SRN programme to create relevant reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone from telecom background.

Job Responsibilities:

• To document data requirements (input, processing and outputs) required to support our programmes and support the detailed design of the underlying database. Initial focus will be to document the as-is and future versions of the data required to manage the SRN network.
• Interrogating databases and datasets to generate accurate and timely analysis
• Produce intelligent analysis of data and trends to ensure the programmes can react and improve effectively
• Ensuring the accuracy of data and information reported
• Locating and fixing data errors or anomalies
• Translating business requirements and building required reports or dashboards
• Designing and producing and then actively managing any required regular reporting
• Ability to utilise data sets and generate outputs that can support programme themes and assist in decision making

Skills Required:

• Oracle SQL and analytics
• Telecom experience is must. SRN - shared rural network is desirable.
• Numerate with high attention to detail and accurate data analysis
• Excellent communications skills to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms
• Able to understand and explain complex data scenarios
• Experience in liaising with and reporting to all levels within a business
• Successfully working within agreed timelines
• Demonstrable experience in the manipulation and processing of a variety of large / complex datasets
• Process mapping (Visio/Lucid Charts)

• Understanding of GIS / Mapping principles
