Job Description
Software Distribution Technician - Bracknell, Berkshire - Contract.
A global IT services company is searching for a Software Distribution Technician to join their team in Bracknell on a contract basis.
A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.
The Software Distribution Technician will be self-sufficient when resolving routine problems or enquiries across several products, product sets and systems or technologies for multiple customers.
The role will involve dealing with unexpected problems, more complex escalations and helping to maintain the availability of the IT services delivered to end users. The role holder will also deliver low to medium complexity work packages as part of customer implementation projects.
Candidates must have good software distribution experience and experience of Windows Server 2000/2003 and anti virus (ideally McAfee).
