Senior Test Specialist

Senior Test Specialist is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 3 months rolling contract, to be based in remotely from home, UK. (UK Only).

Responsibilities & Skills:

• The successful applicant will be an experienced
• Providing specialist testing advice to our customers and delivering on that advice.
• Accountable for managing testing activities on application or cloud infrastructure projects within a program or service. Supplying stakeholders with the data they require to be able to make informed decisions in respect to solution or component suitability to progress to the next development stage or for release into production.
• Contribute to test estimation as and when required.
• Produce clear and unambiguous test plans that address project requirements and risks
• Effectively communicate test plans and/or strategies throughout project & customer teams
• Successfully delivers all testing activities identified in test plans within budget and timescale constraints
• Produce accurate test cases that address clearly defined requirements
• Familiar with range of testing tools
• Agile testing experience
• Experience with contributing to bids and testing standards
• Understand requirements for testing and agree testing scope with stakeholders
• Accountable for the delivery of testing activities within budget and timescale
• Creating test plan documents or test strategy for projects that address the requirements and mitigate the risks of the solution under test
• Organising test materials, environments, tools and resources required to deliver the planned testing activities and co-ordinates the delivery of testing against the schedule
• Report test progress, risks and test incidents and collect test measurements and metrics
• Undertaking bid and pre-sales activities where appropriate
• Excellent client facing experience
