Senior Test Analyst

We are looking for self-motivated Senior Test Analysts to join an existing dynamic Test Practice based in Basingstoke.

You may lead a team of Testers and will work closely with all project stakeholders, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to grow and build upon your existing knowledge and ability.

Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrable understanding the Software Development and Testing Lifecycles
• An understanding of and experience of multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile, V-Model & Waterfall
• Demonstrable experience of testing both Infrastructure and Applications
• Demonstrable experience of identifying test data and creating test cases in response to clearly defined requirements. Including the creation of test cases in areas of technical testing specialism for both manual and automated testing
• Demonstrable experience of executing test cases and recording test results in accordance with established test plan(s). Including the execution of test cases in areas of technical testing specialism.
• Demonstrable experience of defect logging, investigation and support
• Demonstrable experience of collecting test related metrics
• Demonstrable experience of organization of test materials, environments, tools and resources required to deliver the planned testing activities and co-ordination of the delivery of testing against the schedule, reporting test progress, risks and test incidents
• Creation of high quality test plan documents on small to medium projects or discrete pieces of work that address the requirements and mitigate the risks of the solution under test.
• Accountable for the deliverables of the test team for a small project to agreed schedule.
• Understands the requirements for testing within the project and agrees testing scope with stakeholders
• Experience of writing Test scripts, Test Reports, Defect Management and Reporting requirements.

Desirable

• Experience using SOAP UI, XML, Jenkins
