Senior Software Engineer/Developer - Team Lead

What the role be doing

• You will be a Software Engineering Team Lead who will take a lead in the design and implementation of software applications, ensure on time delivery of robust, industry leading solutions.
• You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, providing technical direction for the products that you are responsible for - ensuring quality standards are maintained and best practice is employed.
• You'll love learning new technologies and be able to grow the technical capabilities of the team by example through evolving and promoting leading practices for software development.
• You're able to work with the leadership team for the product you represent - helping shaping the backlog to ensure we're delivering on time and to a high quality.

About you

• You'll have a strong background in software development and knowledge of design principles and patterns and ideally experience in mentoring or leading small teams.
• Experience of any of the following technologies such as Node, JavaScript, Scala, .Net , Java, C++, C#, Python, Android or IOS.
• Experience writing and documenting maintainable software within collaborative environments.
• Ability to rapidly acquire new software skills and to work with new technologies.
• Experience releasing software to production including load testing and threat modelling.
