Purpose of the role:

This role will be responsible for documenting company processes for the purposes of FPPP and documenting the controls framework around key company procedures. It will sit in the FPPP and BEIS Controls area.

This role will work across the CFO function, liaising with all the relevant stakeholders to document processes and existing controls and identify areas of improvement.

Must have experience and skills:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant
• Previous experience of working with US SOX or similar control framework
• Preferably audit trained in one of the top 10 accounting firms
• Self-starter and has demonstrable ability to work with minimal guidance
• Strong risk identification abilities
• Ability to think wider than the role and more holistically about the business
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships with a wide array of stakeholders
• Strong rationalisation and influencing skills
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills

Key Deliverables

• Documentation of key processes incumbent in FPPP requirements for UK listing regulations
• Preparation of summary board paper for FPPP
• Documentation of wider process and controls framework
• Setting up of a risk and controls matrix
• Ensuring that all outputs stand to scrutiny from external auditors, regulators and senior stakeholders
• Prepare and share regular progress update in a concise but accurate manner
