Contract Position

Dublin, Ireland.

Great opportunity to work as Senior ETL/ Python Developer for a high profile , well-loved brand within IT Service company, based out of Dublin, Ireland . Can work remotely also.

About the role:

• Our ETLs are written in Python.
• We use Airflow scheduler, Airflow worker and RabbitMQ and the configuration is carried out by Ansible.
• This is all hosted on an AWS cloud.
• The inputs are taken from the Procedural System via calls to a Microsoft SQL DB and also REST/SOAP calls to an endpoint exposed by a Domino application.
• The DB used for staging in PostgreSQL.
• The outputs are sent to Elastic Search DB and also S3 buckets.

Required skills:

• Senior ETL Developer with good experience in Python, Elastic Search and JavaScript
• Experience of ETLs written in Python.
• Experience of Airflow scheduler, Airflow worker and RabbitMQ
• Experience of Ansible configuration
• Experience of ETLS hosted on an AWS cloud.
• Experience of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL DB and data feeds using REST/SOAP calls to an endpoint exposed by a Domino application.
• Experience of sending outputs to Elastic Search DB and also S3 buckets.
• Experience of Open Data, specifically storing data on Elastic Search and made available by an Open Data API .
