Senior Devops Engineer - Contract - Cambridge

Senior Devops Engineer required on a contract basis in Cambridgeshire

Great opportunity open for Senior DevOps Engineers with experience in Linux Dev Ops and programming experience in Python/Bash/Ruby to come on-board and work for a reputable and global telecommunications company based in Cambridge. This will be an initial contract position with competitive rates on offer.

Key experience:

At least 5 years as an IT professional in Linux Dev Ops role with expertise in a wide variety of infrastructure technologies.

At least 5 years programming/scripting experience in Python/Bash/Ruby

Admin experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, OpenStack)

Experience with development and administration in a range of tools is desirable: Red Hat, CentOS, DNS, PKI, Apache, Nginx, Checkpoint firewall, VMware, Nagios, Zabbix, Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl and JavaScript, TCP, AWS, MongoDB, NetApp, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Puppet, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Chef, Ansible, Salt, Vagrant, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Hadoop.

Knowledge of unicast video delivery systems and typical network topologies used in unicast video delivery deployments desirable and highly beneficial to an application.
