RAN Consultant - 3G, 4G, 5G

RAN (Radio Access Network) Consultant - 3G, 4G, 5G, required for 9 month contract.

Reading and sites across the UK.

• Are you experienced in in location assessments / in-building assessments?
• Do you have strong experience in coverage prediction in Atoll?
• Do you have strong experience in RAN performance, coverage, optimisation, capacity planning and forecasting?

If the answer is yes to all of these, we have an exciting new role for a RAN Consultant to join a leading mobile operator based in Berkshire and the role will involve some travel across the UK.

In a nutshell: The purpose of this role is to support sale initiatives from the B2B team, assessing either directly or indirectly the level of coverage, capacity and performance in locations where a prospect customer is present.

This assessment will usually be done through desktop analysis, drive testing/walk testing.

• Domain specific knowledge & experience:
• In depth understanding of 3G, 4G, 5G RAN architecture, features and functionalities.
• High level understanding of 3G, 4G, 5G Core, Transport and OSS Architecture.
• Understanding of RAN OSS and 3rd party CEX management tools and their evolution.
