PROJECT COORDINATOR
FTC - MARCH 2024
READING - 2 TO 3 DAYS A WEEK
This role sits within the Programme Management Office and will be responsible for providing Project support to the to the Programme and Project community.
Key Responsibilities for the Project Coordinator include:
- Maintains and continuously monitors project /programme controls to ensure the successful delivery of programme/project outcomes within the agreed timely lines
- Organising the Programme/Project steerco and key meeting preparing agendas, packs
- Tracking and monitoring of all actions and key decisions from key project meetings
- Organising workshops for the programme/project team , co-ordinating all activities and managing all issues and escalating where appropriate
- Maintenance of Project RAID which clears identifies, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure the appropriate plans are in place
- Developing and maintaining Project plans and plans on a page which provide insight into Project key milestones to support sequencing decisions and critical path analysis
- Preparing Project/Programme steerco packs to provide appropriate level insight which focuses on key significant drivers for successful delivery
- Facilitating the administration of the Project governance process -preparing Project Board (PB) packs, updating Project artefacts, producing Project closure reports
- Interpreting and responding appropriately to Project/ Programme requirements for support and information
- Supporting the administration of projects tools for all projects and programmes ,ensuring the data held in the tools is accurate, up to date
- Engaging with Project stakeholders at all levels within the shareholders, suppliers and MBNL to ensure timely provision of accurate information in line with the agreed reporting cycles- there is a basis
- Co-ordinating all the on board of new starters including ensuring all IT equipment is in place for new starters
- Maintaining the Project/Programme stakeholder maps and distribution lists
- Maintenance of Project/Programme Sharepoint space to provide easily accessible and readable available project documentation
- Proactively seek to identify ways to support the project team to ensure successful delivery of the project
The successful Project Coordinator will have:
- Worked in a project environment
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Comfortable working with broad range of Stakeholders
- Be proactive ,enthusiastic and flexible with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience of producing project plans, dependencies logs , resource usage across a Project.
- Knowledge in risk and issue management
- Confident communication skills and energy
- Good self-management, information presentation and interpersonal communication
